Dick O'Reilly will pick me up and we'll drive to a fly-in of Classic aircraft at Flabob Airfield. This is the home of EAA Chapter 1, and was the home field of Ray Stits, so lots of history. Then to Dick's home airfield to have a look at his Interstate Cadet, built in the 1940's, now with 0-200 Continental. Now registered as ELSA, it's a beautiful aircraft with heaps of classic character.
Then to LAX airport for the flight to Auatralia, and it's all over......... for this time........
My rig waiting for next year.....
